BELLAIRE PUBLIC ART PROJECT
Our Projects

2024: Unique Art of Antrim County
By lifting up the talents and voices of this rural region, this project will help to bolster the careers and pride for local residents and artists in the area, as well as attract people to Bellaire for the art and culture that Northern Michigan has to offer.

In 2023, the Works of Charles Culver was a free, public art exhibition displayed throughout downtown Bellaire, Mi. This project explored the untold story of Bellaire's most famous artist and included 13 selected works from the private collection of Caren Culver. This exhibition was funded, in part, by a grant from the Michigan Arts & Culture Council, administered by Northwest Michigan Arts and Culture Network.

In 2019, the Detroit Institute of Art brought their Inside/Out Program to the Village of Bellaire. This program brought high-quality reproductions from the DIA’s collection to outdoor venues throughout Michigan.
2025: Color Bellaire
Light Post banner program. These community designed banners were placed on the light poles in downtown Bellaire. The new banners reflected local thoughts on our downtown streets in hopes to raise awareness how special our waterways, hiking trails, businesses, people and land truly are to the community.
